CAMDEN CLASSIC CAR CLUB
ELIGIBILITY
· All vehicles must be a minimum of 30 years old and be in a safe operating condition.
· To be eligible to place a vehicle in the club, you must pay membership fees, attend a minimum (2) two club events. A register is to be kept of all historical vehicles attending event/runs.
· Must hold current New South Wales drivers licence
CLUB EVENTS
· Club Events shall be described as:-
o Events as set out on the Club events calendar
o Events organised by their Club, or another Club or recognised community organisations, provided an official invitation has been received and documented by the Club
RESPONSIBILITY OF CLUB MEMBERS
· Proof of club membership and a Safety Inspection report (pink slip) must be provided to the RMS prior to establishing or renewing conditional registration.
· Memberships are not transferable either to another vehicle or person in the event of the vehicle on which they are issued being sold.
· Membership can be cancelled if a club official considers the vehicle has been made unsafe or altered after it has been inspected.
· Failure to comply with the Historic Vehicle Scheme and/or Club Constitution may result in membership suspension at the directive of a club official.
ANNUAL VEHICLE INSPECTION
· All vehicles are subject to an annual inspection or Safety Check report (pink slip) must be supplied to RMS
· No member will be issued with a renewal if his vehicle is found to be un-roadworthy
INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum insurance cover of Third Party Property Insurance is required. Proof of a cover must be provided to the Club. It is strongly recommended that full insurance be obtained.
MODIFICATIONS
· Club registered vehicles must be as close to original condition as possible, with no alterations except for safety features such as seatbelts and turn indicators, or period accessories and options, if desired
GENERAL
· Seat belts must be worn, where fitted
· All members must be NSW residents
PERIOD OPTIONS, ACCESSORIES & SAFETY ITEMS
· As part of ongoing improvements to the Historic Vehicle Scheme, Transport of NSW has compiled a list of period options, accessories and safety items which are accepted and are compliant with conditional registration under the Scheme.
